Homicide detectives have been called in to investigate after a man was found without vital signs in his Burlington home Friday morning.

The man’s lifeless body was discovered by his roommate at their Mountainside Drive home shortly before 11 a.m., Halton Regional Police said in a news release.

The roommate called police who arrived on scene and found the man without vital signs. He has since been pronounced dead.

Police have deemed the death suspicious and homicide investigators have been called to the scene to look into the circumstances that led to the man’s death.

Police have not yet identified the man and have not said how he died.
