A 31-year-old man has been charged with murder after his wife was found dead inside their Ajax home Friday night.
Nasira Fazli, 31, was found suffering from obvious signs of trauma in the residence on Torr Lane near Kingston and Salem roads at around 7:20 p.m. Friday.
The suspect was the only other person in the residence at the time of the incident and was taken into custody at the scene, according to Durham police.
Police say they are treating the incident as a “domestic-related homicide."
Feraidon Ibrahem faces a charge of second-degree murder in connection with the incident.
