LONDON, Ont. -- A London, Ont., man is facing a murder charge in connection with the city's first homicide of the year and police say they are still seeking a second suspect.

Police say James Cameron Willits, 29, died in hospital of injuries he suffered in an assault at an apartment building in the southwestern Ontario city.

Paramedics and police were called to the building (on Baseline Road West across from Westminster Secondary School) around 10:30 a.m. Monday where they found a man in a sixth-floor unit suffering from a head injury.

He underwent emergency surgery at the London Health Sciences Centre but police say he died overnight.

Ronald Travis Chrisjohn, 30, of London, is charged with second-degree murder.

Police say Steven Barry Antone, 22, also of London, is wanted on charges of second-degree murder and robbery and that anyone who knows his whereabouts should call 911.

A third man is also being investigated in connection with the incident but police did not immediately identify him.

An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.

Willits leaves behind a four-year-old daughter described by relatives as "his princess."

Police say all the parties involved are known to each other and the incident is not believed to be a random attack.
