Police have charged a 50-year-old man with second degree murder after a woman was found dead in her Kipling Avenue and Albion Road area apartment Tuesday.
The woman was found with signs of obvious trauma after police were called to the apartment on Kendleton Drive. A subsequent post-mortem examination determined that she died from a blow to the chest.
Ian Gray of Toronto was arrested at the scene. He is set to appear in court Nov. 16 at 10 a.m.
The woman’s name has not been released.
