A man has been charged with second-degree murder following a fatal stabbing at an East York apartment building late Wednesday night.
Police located the victim, a woman in her 20s, suffering from obvious signs of trauma at the building located in the Broadview and Danforth avenues area shortly after 11:30 p.m.
She was taken to hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Police said a man, who is in his 30s, was arrested at the scene.
The names of the victim and the accused have not been released pending the notification of next of kin.
