Durham Regional Police say a man is dead after a fire at a home in Oshawa.
Police were called to a townhouse on Pearson St. at 9:30 a.m.
The fire was already out by the time police arrived on scene.
Fire crews found a body when they entered the home to investigate.
The cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
The coroner will be attending the scene to investigate.
Police say the cause of the fire is unknown and it’s too early to say if it’s suspicious.
