A man in his thirties was rushed to hospital in serious condition after being stabbed on Queen Street East Sunday night.

Paramedics responded to the stabbing near the intersection of Queen Street East and Seaton Street shortly before 8:30 p.m.

They found the man suffering from stab wounds to his face and rushed him to hospital in serious condition.

Police said the man was stabbed in his cheek after a fight broke out between two of several men in the area. They said his injuries are non-life-threatening.

No arrests have been made so far, police said.
