A male was taken to hospital in critical condition and a second is in custody after a vicious attack in the northeast end of the city early Wednesday morning.
The victim may have been attacked with a machete. The man suffered multiple slash wounds, police said.
He was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was attacked near McCowan Road and Nugget Avenue at about 4 a.m.
Officers found the suspect, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, hiding nearby, police told CP24.
