Police are searching for suspects after a man was swarmed in the city’s entertainment district early and Saturday morning.

According to police, the man was near Queen Street and Spadina Avenue at around 3 a.m. when a group of three to five males attacked him, stabbing him several times in the abdomen.

The injured man subsequently made his way to a nearby McDonalds Restaurant, where he collapsed from his injuries.

He was taken to hospital in serious but non-life threatening condition.

Police say they are looking for three to five non-white males in their 20s.
