HAGERSVILLE, Ont. - Police have charged a man with manslaughter in an overdose death in Hagersville, Ont.
They say 32-year-old Jason Kerr died Feb. 1 from opioid poisoning.
Under arrest now is a 37-year-old man from Haldimand County.
He is also charged with criminal negligence causing death and drug trafficking.
The accused is to appear in court in Cayuga next week.
Haldimand police say this is the eight incident of charges related to a fatal overdose this year.
