OTTAWA — Canada’s annual inflation rate was 3.2 per cent in May, Statistics Canada says. Here’s what happened in the provinces (previous month in brackets):
— Newfoundland and Labrador: 4.4 per cent (3.6)
— Prince Edward Island: 3.8 per cent (3.4)
— Nova Scotia: 5.2 per cent (4.3)
— New Brunswick: 4.7 per cent (4.2)
— Quebec: 3.6 per cent (3.0)
— Ontario: 2.6 per cent (2.4)
— Manitoba: 4.6 per cent (4.3)
— Saskatchewan: 4.4 per cent (3.8)
— Alberta: 3.7 per cent (3.2)
— British Columbia: 2.9 per cent (2.5)
