HALIFAX — Chorus Aviation Inc. says its latest quarter delivered a $13.8 million profit.
The Halifax-based company says the second-quarter figure compares with a profit of $32.4 million a year earlier.
Chorus, which leases planes around the world, says its net income dropped due to a number of factors including a negative change in net unrealized foreign exchange, an increase in amortization on intangible assets and tax adjustments.
Operating revenue totalled $349.4 million, down from $324.6 million in the three months ended June 30.
On an adjusted basis, Chorus says it earned $50.7 million, down from $51.3 million a year earlier.
The company says its leverage ratio — net debt divided by its trailing 12-month adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization — ended the quarter at 1.5 compared with 1.7 at the end of 2025.
