LUCAN BIDDULPH TOWNSHIP, Ont. -- Provincial police say they're investigating after a naked man was struck by a car and critically injured in southwestern Ontario.

Police say officers responded late Saturday night to a report of a suspicious man at the front of a home in Lucan-Biddulph Township, north of London.

Const. Liz Melvin says the man was naked and appeared to be trying to enter the home.

Melvin says the man left for unknown reasons, started to walk along the street, and was hit by a car.

The 31-year-old man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and is listed in critical condition.
