York Regional Police say a 34-year-old massage therapist has been charged with sexual assault after a woman told police she had been touched inappropriately during a session.

According to police, a 37-year-old woman told investigators that she went for spa treatments at a facility in Aurora and during a registered massage therapy session, the practitioner touched her sexually without her consent.

The man, investigators say, had been employed as an RMT at two separate businesses in Toronto and Aurora since November 2014.

Police say the suspect was arrested without incident in Newmarket on Feb, 20.
