Toronto police are investigating after a car crashed into a pole and shut down a street for several hours Monday morning.

No injuries were reported, but Albion Road was fully closed at Islington Avenue for about seven hours to allow hydro crews to replace the damaged pole.

Police reopened the eastbound lanes at about 7:45 a.m.

Alcohol was not a factor in the single-vehicle crash, which occurred at about 12:30 a.m., police said.
