York Regional Police are investigating following the discovery of a body in Kleinburg Thursday afternoon.
Police said they received a call at around 3:30 p.m. for the discovery near Highway 27 and Nashville Road.
The coroner has since been called in to assist in the investigation.
Details on the age and gender of the deceased were not immediately provided.
Police have closed Nashville Road in both directions as they investigate.
