A 32-year-old man is facing multiple charges after police say he allegedly tried to kiss a woman at Victoria Park Station before assaulting her.
According to investigators, at around 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 9, a 20-year-old woman was at the subway station when a man, who was waiting in a nearby bridge area, began to follow her.
Police allege that the man attempted to kiss the woman and when she confronted him, he assaulted her twice.
Muhunthan Chambasivam, 32, was arrested earlier this month and has been charged with criminal harassment, attempted sexual assault, carrying a concealed weapon and two counts of assault.
