PETERBOROUGH, Ont. - Ontario's Special Investigations Unit says a provincial police officer has been charged in connection with a serious crash near Peterborough, Ont.
The SIU says the February crash took place while the officer was en route to a call.
It says the officer's cruiser collided with another vehicle driven by a 46-year-old man.
The SIU says the man was seriously injured in the crash and had to be taken to a Toronto hospital for treatment.
Ontario Provincial Police Const. Miriam Green is now facing one count of dangerous driving causing bodily harm.
