Police have released a security camera image of a man wanted in connection with a sex assault that occurred at the Grey Cup in Toronto on Sunday.

The release of the photograph Tuesday afternoon stems from an alleged incident that occurred at the entrance to BMO Field shortly after 10 p.m., around the time when the game between the Ottawa Redbacks and Calgary Stampeders was ending.

According to police, a 32-year-old woman was approached from behind and sexually assaulted.

The incident was recorded by cameras at the stadium, police said.

The suspect is described as 35 to 45 years old, standing six-foot-two, with a medium-to-heavy build, and short blond hair.

He was last seen wearing a Hamilton Tiger-Cats jersey with the number 44 on it, a Tiger-Cats scarf, and pants. All items of clothing were black and yellow, investigators said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-1400 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
