Sabastian Prosa, a Caledon man found guilty in June of impaired driving causing death in connection with a crash on Highway 427 that tore a family apart, will have to wait longer to hear his sentence.

Prosa was convicted of 12 offences on June 26, in relation to a collision that occurred in the early hours of the morning on Aug. 5, 2012 on Highway 427 near the ramp to the QEW.

Prosa’s SUV was driving in the wrong direction when it struck a minivan containing Jayantha, Eleesha and Antonette Wijeratne.

Father Jayantha, 49, and daughter Eleesha, 16, were pronounced dead at the scene. Antonette suffered serious injuries.

A judge at the courthouse at 361 University Avenue in Toronto delayed the sentencing to an unknown later date on Friday.
