BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - T.J. Brennan struck twice and prospect William Nylander had a goal and an assist as the Toronto Marlies extended their win streak to five games, beating the Binghamton Senators 6-1 on Saturday in American Hockey League action.
Nylander is currently on a five-game point streak that includes four goals and four assists.
Richard Panik also had a goal and a helper for the Marlies (10-3-0) while Andrew Campbell and Zach Hyman added the others.
Ryan Dzingel supplied the lone offence for the Senators (3-7-0), who are on a five-game skid.
Toronto's Garret Sparks made 34 saves for the win as Matt O'Connor turned away 36-of-42 shots for Binghamton.
The Marlies went 1 for 7 on the power play while the Senators failed to score on five chances with the man advantage.
