Alejandro Kirk belted a three-run home run in the sixth inning as part of an offensive barrage from the Toronto Blue Jays in a 13-4 win over the Seattle Mariners on Wednesday in the American League Championship Series.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr., George Springer, Andres Gimenez and Addison Barger also hit home runs as the Blue Jays cut their deficit in the best-of-seven series to 2-1.

Shane Bieber allowed four hits and one walk while striking out eight batters across six innings in the win.

After Julio Rodriguez opened the scoring in the first inning with a two-run homer for Seattle, the Blue Jays scored 12 straight runs, including a five-run third inning that Gimenez got going with a two-run shot of his own.

Toronto dropped the opening two games at home, including a 10-3 loss on Monday in Game 2.

Game 4 will go Thursday evening with Max Scherzer set to start on the mound for the Blue Jays.
