Hamilton Tiger-Cats re-sign veteran quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell to two-year deal

HAMILTON — Quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell is staying with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

The CFL team says it has signed the 35-year-old pivot to a two-year contract.

Mitchell led the league in passing yards and passing touchdowns this past season.

He completed 428 of 626 pass attempts for 5,296 yards and 36 touchdowns.

Mitchell was the East Division nominee for the most outstanding player award.

The two-time Grey Cup champion has played 13 seasons with the Ticats and Calgary Stampeders.
