Team Canada will meet Team U.S.A. in the semifinals at the World Junior Curling Championships Monday afternoon.
The U20 men’s team from the Truro Curling Club is sporting the maple leaf in Taarnby, Denmark.
The team came in third, with a 7-2 record, after a week of round-robin play, advancing to the semifinals against the second place Team U.S.
With a victory Monday, skip Calan MacIsaac, third Nathan Gray, second Owain Fisher, and lead Christopher McCurdy, would advance to the finals on Tuesday, securing at least a silver medal.
The Canadians played the Americans earlier in the tournament, losing 7-5.
