Canada’s Dabrowski, Brazil’s Stefani win women’s doubles title at Eastbourne Open

EASTBOURNE — Ottawa’s Gabriela Dabrowski and Brazil’s Luisa Stefani have won another title.

The duo defeated Czech pair Miriam Skoch and Jesika Maleckova 6-1, 6-4 in the women’s doubles final at the WTA 250 Eastbourne Open tennis tournament on Sunday.

Dabrowski and Stefani converted on five of their break-point chances and won 75 per cent of first-serve points.

It was the23rd career WTA title in Dabrowski’s career and fifth with Stefani.

Dabrowski is now up to three titles on the season, tying her best from 2018, 2022 and 2025.

Next up, Dabrowski and Stefani are the No. 2 seeds at Wimbledon. They are set to face Chile’s Alexa Guarachi and Poland’s Alicja Rosolska in the first round.
