Police have arrested a teenage suspect after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed and robbed outside a Leaside school Wednesday morning.

According to police, the victim had just exited Leaside High School, located near Bayview and Eglinton avenues, at around 11:50 a.m. and was near an adjacent baseball field when he was stabbed in the back by the suspect.

He was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and has since been released.

The incident stemmed from a fight, police said.

Police have arrested another male teen in connection with the incident. Information on the suspect’s age or details on possible charges were not immediately provided by police.
