Toronto Police have charged a 20-year-old man with attempted murder following a shooting between two vehicles last week in the city’s Lawrence Heights neighbourhood.
The incident occurred in the area of Replin Rd and Lawrence Avenue West on March 4 at about 3:40 p.m. Police say multiple shots were exchanged between a suspect and a man sitting in his car.
Investigators identified a suspect over the weekend.
Toronto resident Abdullahi Abdikarim was arrested on Monday and charged with attempted murder. He was expected to make a court appearance Tuesday morning.
Police say they are continuing to look for an additional suspect but investigators did not release any information about that person.
