A male in his teens has been taken to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries after a shooting near Jane Street and Finch Avenue West Sunday night, Toronto EMS says.
The shooting happened around 10 p.m. at the Yorkwoods Plaza on Jane Street, south of Finch Avenue West.
Paramedics said they believe the teen to be 16 years old.
Police cars and an ambulance were visible at the scene and police unfurled yellow police tape around the plaza.
Police have not said whether anyone is in custody or if there are any suspects so far.
