A third suspect allegedly involved in what police have described as a targeted shooting in Owen Sound last summer has been charged with first-degree murder.

In a news release, Owen Sound Police said officers arrested a 17-year-old from Brampton, Ont. in connection with the July 11 homicide.

The victim, who police have identified as 17-year-old Robert McIntosh, was found dead after a shooting at an apartment complex on the city’s 6th Avenue West.

Investigators believe the shooting was targeted.

Two other suspects, Donte’a Ryan Mitchell, 25, from North York and Dustin Noonan, 34, from Owen Sound, have also been charged with first-degree murder in the shooting.

It’s unclear if the victim and the suspects were known to each other.

The investigation is ongoing in concert with the Ontario Provincial Police.

Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact investigators at 519-376-1234 or Crime Stoppers.
