Three women were taken to hospital, one with life-threatening injuries, after a car collided with a transport truck in the city’s west end late Wednesday night.
The accident happened near Albion and Weston roads at around 11:30 p.m.
According to paramedics, one of the victims suffered minor injuries while another sustained serious injuries and the third had life-threatening injuries.
Police say a full reconstruction of the accident is being conducted in an attempt to garner more information on the circumstances.
