TTC fares are expected to increase again in the New Year.
At its meeting Wednesday, the transit commission is expected to approve a fare hike that will affect tokens and Metropasses.
If the hike is approved, the cost of tokens will increase by five cents and Metropasses will go up by $2.50 cents per month, as of Jan. 1.
Cash fares will stay at $3.
The fare increases are expected to generate an additional $18 million a year.
