Two people have been arrested and police are looking for a third after someone was assaulted in a fight over a parking spot at the busy Square One Shopping Centre in Mississauga.
Officers from Peel Regional Police responded to the mall’s parking lot shortly before 2 p.m. after receiving a call about a disturbance.
Police said three to four black males fled on foot after someone sustained minor injuries in an altercation.
Video of the incident posted on social media showed two men scrapping and throwing punches, while other stunned shoppers looked on. One of the men appeared to sustain a bloody nose in the fight.
The injured man was treated by paramedics at the scene, police said.
Two suspects were arrested a short time later and police said a third was still being sought.
The parking spot spat comes as thousands of deal-hunters flock to malls around the GTA in search of Boxing Day bargains.
