A two-year old girl has been found with her grandfather after it was reported that she was abducted Wednesday morning near Eglinton Avenue West and McLaughlin Road in Mississauga.
Police found the girl at 340 Dixon Rd. just after noon, about an hour after a female called police saying the child’s father had broken into the home and taken the child.
Police set up a command post at the scene on Ceremonial Drive and said they were looking for a dark beige sedan.
The child’s father has not been found so far. It’s not clear how the girl came to be at her grandfather’s home.
Police are investigating.
