BEIJING — China’s foreign minister urged the United States on Thursday to maintain “stability” between the two countries but said Taiwan posed the “biggest risk point” to the relations.

Foreign Minister Wang Yi told US Secretary of State Marco Rubio during a phone call that Beijing and Washington should “safeguard the hard-won stability” in China-U.S. relations, the ministry said.
