Deer tackles woman in parking lot before tearing through laundromat

Security video captured a deer wreaking havoc inside a laundromat and then fly tackling a woman in a parking lot in North Carolina.

A delirious deer tackled a woman before they went on a buck-wild rampage in an American laundromat – all of which was caught on tape.

Security footage from Wishy Washy Laundry in Winston-Salem, N.C., showed the animal leaping over a car and smashing a woman into her own vehicle, then running through the parking lot and crashing through a window into the laundromat.

The deer then ran through the business and wreaked havoc as people scrambled away from the animal.

The footage showed the deer bashing through trollies and garbage cans before attempting to climb up machines in the laundromat’s back corner.

Bystanders could be seen retreating from the deer while they filmed with their phones.

One man clearly retreats behind another person, grabbing their shoulder as he tried to move them between himself and the deer. The man filmed the animal as it attempted to climb to a corner perch.

The animal appeared to lose momentum as it tried to mount the machines, then ran away after its chaotic romp, leaving just as suddenly as it arrived.

The animal’s first victim, the woman in the parking lot, was able to stand up and drive away, the owner said according to local media. The broken window has also been repaired.

The owner of the North Carolina business, located in Winston-Salem 127 kilometres north of Charlotte, said it was a miracle nobody was seriously injured.

A similar incident happened in June when a deer crashed through a woman’s bedroom in Grey County, Ont.

In 2022, one jumped through an elementary school window in Cambridge, Ont. and in 2019 another smashed through the window of a bar in Oshawa, Ont.
