Earlier in the night, a 17-year-old and 16-year-old boy were hurt in a shooting in the east end just after 6:30 p.m.

Police say the shooting happened at a highrise near Pharmacy and Danforth Avenues. One person was shot in the face, but the wound was not very deep, police say.

The teen victim, however, suffered gunshot wounds to the back and arm, say police, and he was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police say three people have been arrested in connection with that shooting.

Lastly, a teenage girl was sent to hospital after she was shot in the leg on Tretheway Drive, near Eglinton Avenue and Black Creek Drive just before 5 p.m. Tuesday.
