Nine alleged members of the Almighty Latin King and Queen Nation, a criminal gang, have been arrested after a two-year sting known as Project Royal Flush.

Police say all of those arrested are in Canada illegally and face immigration enforcement and potential removal from the country. Project Royal Flush was a combined effort of the Integrated Gun and Gang Task Force and the Canada Border Services Agency.

The following people have been arrested under the Immigration Act and Refugee Protect Act and are being held in custody:

Ivan Hernan Acosta, 23, of Richmond Hill; Carla Elizabeth Campana, 23, of Toronto; Sergio Antonio Loayza-Figuero, 22, of Toronto; Jose Gonzalo Santos-Hernandez, 20, of Toronto; Ricardo Corea-Ochoa, 22, of Toronto; Alexander Alberto Luna-Marte, 21, of Toronto; Rene Jorge Paniagua-Angulo, 23, of Toronto; Abel Antonio Zambrano-Quito, 24, of no fixed address; and Bolivar Romero, 24, of no fixed address.
