TOFINO, B.C. - The Olympic torch continues its trek across Vancouver Island with stops in Campbell River and the Comox Valley today.
The torch then makes its way to Canada's north after four days on Vancouver Island.
The torch has taken several unique rides on the Island. It's been on a surf board, skateboard, wheelchair, float plane, aboriginal canoe and logging truck.
Protesters in Victoria forced authorities to change the route to protect torchbearers.
Those carrying the torch are describing their 300-metre runs as amazing experiences that bring them closer to the Olympics.
The 106-day, 45,000 kilometre torch relay ends in February with the start of the Winter Olympics in Vancouver and Whistler.
