One dead, three injured in head-on collision

One man is dead and three others are injured following a head-on collision on the Toronto-bound QEW Monday night.

The collision happened near the Fairview Avenue exit by Mapleview Mall.

OPP said that one vehicle being operated by an older male was travelling in the Niagara-bound lanes when it crossed into the Toronto-bound lanes and collided with another vehicle carrying three males believed to be in their 30s.

All lanes of the Toronto-bound QEW remain closed from North Shore Boulevard to Highway 2.

Police said the road will likely be closed for two to three hours.
