Falling glass forces road closures

UPDATE: Falling glass from a downtown building caused a number of road closures Monday evening.

Toronto police closed a number of streets in the area around 155 Wellington St. W. after two panes of glass fell from the building - one from the 11th floor and one from the 31st floor.

Simcoe Street was closed, including sidewalks, between Wellington and Front streets.

Contractors are expected to arrive at the building later this evening, Toronto police said.

There have been no reports of any injuries.
