Man injured in accident at airport
One man is being transported to hospital via air ambulance in critical condition following an industrial accident at Pearson airport Thursday night.
Peel Emergency Medical Services said the man was temporarily trapped inside a piece of machinery.
The man suffered serious chest injuries, Peel EMS said.
Baby rushed to hospital after drowning
A 10-month old baby was rushed to hospital with a faint pulse after a drowning incident in Mississauga Thursday afternoon, an Emergency Medical Services official says.
The baby was found in a pond behind a home on Glen Erin Drive near Erin Centre Boulevard at around 4 p.m.
The child remains in critical condition in hospital.
