Shot fired during attempted home invasion
Peel police are investigating after a shot was fired during an attempted home invasion in Mississauga Wednesday night.
Police say that four males attempted to enter a home on Turney Drive around 9:30 p.m.
A struggle ensued and a shot was fired into the floor when a woman home at the time responded to what she thought were children out for Halloween, police say.
She was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
No information on the suspects has been provided by police.
