Toronto police have delayed an expected release of TTC security footage that may help identify two suspects who mugged an elderly man on the subway.

Yusuf Hizel, 79, says passengers watched as he was robbed Saturday as the subway train pulled into Chester station.

Detectives were expected to release images of the two suspects by Wednesday afternoon, but police now say they won't be released until tomorrow due to technical issues.

Between 20 and 30 people were on the car when Hizel was pinned down and robbed. None came to his aid despite his calls for help. One passenger on the train at the time claims to have pressed the passenger alarm, but the TTC says it has no record of that.

Hizel told the Toronto Star he was badly shaken but is over the incident.
