Toronto police are searching for two suspects following a shooting behind a public school near Warden and Danforth Avenues in Scarborough Tuesday afternoon.
Police say a man in his twenties was shot in the torso near Warden Avenue Public School, which is located around Warden Avenue and Burnhill Road.
Police locked down the daycare centre at the school after an argument between two groups of men ended with gunfire.
The victim has been taken to hospital and is in critical condition.
Reports say one suspect has a teardrop tattoo under an eye.
