Police are looking for two suspects after a young man was shot and killed near Jane Street and Finch Avenue on Sunday evening.

Police were called to an apartment building at 345 Driftwood Ave. at about 7 p.m. after receiving reports of gunshots.

There, they found the body of 20-year-old Peter Bowen in the driveway. He was pronounced dead in hospital.

Investigators believe there was a dispute in the building's lobby before the argument spilled out into the street. Unconfirmed reports suggest the victim was shot several times in the chest.

One of the suspects is a five foot seven black male who is estimated to be about 20 years old and 130 pounds. The second suspect, also a black male, is about 22 years old and 170 pounds with a medium build.

Police say both suspects were last seen wearing black baseball caps with the letter D, blue bandanas with a teardrop pattern, black hooded winter jackets, black or grey shiny jeans and black Timberland shoes.

The murder is the city's eighth homicide of the year.
