Toronto police are looking for at least one suspect after a man was fatally shot near Jane Street and St. Clair Avenue West in the city's west end late Thursday night.

Officers found Jaivoan Cromwell, 19, suffering "obvious gunshot wounds," in front of 251 Woolner Ave. at about 10:30 p.m. after they received a report about a man who had collapsed, police said in a news release.

Carmwell, who police say may have ties to Windsor, reportedly had no vital signs at the scene and was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Two suspects were reportedly seen fleeing westbound on Woolner Avenue, but no arrests have been made.
