BOCHUM, Germany - Christine Sinclair's chances of playing against France at the FIFA Women's World Cup aren't good, according to her teammates.

Canada's captain broke her nose during Canada's opening 2-1 loss to Germany but still managed to score on a beautiful free kick.

Melissa Tancredi and Kaylyn Kyle both say chances aren't good that Sinclair will suit up in a game Canada needs to win or tie to have a chance of advancing.

Canadian team doctors held Sinclair out of practice Tuesday.

She's also been fitted with a protective face mask to wear if she does play.

The top two teams in each of the four groups at the 16-country tournament move on.

The Canadians face Nigeria in their final Group A game.
