Questions are being raised after seven city councillors accepted a total of more than four thousand dollars in donations during the last municipal election from the two CUPE unions that are currently on strike.
The donations range from $200 to $500.
The councillors involved are Maria Augimeri, Anthony Perruzza, Adam Giambrone, Janet Davis, Shelley Carroll, Glenn De Baeremaeker and Sandra Bussin.
Critics say that while the donations are small, they're enough to question the councillors actions during the strike.
At least two other councillors want the practice stopped.
