TORONTO -- The Toronto Blue Jays activated infielder Jimmy Paredes and recalled switch-pitcher Pat Venditte on Tuesday.
The team also optioned third baseman Andy Burns and right-hander Dustin Antolin to triple-A Buffalo.
The moves came a day after the Blue Jays extended their losing streak to three games with a 13-2 loss to Tampa Bay.
The teams were scheduled to play again Tuesday night at Rogers Centre.
