A case of the H1N1 flu has emerged at a north-end Toronto school.

A student at Archbishop Romero Catholic Secondary School in the Toronto District Catholic School Board has tested positive for the virus, also known as swine flu.

Board spokesperson Emmy Milne says the student has recovered and the school remains open. She also says custodial staff was informed of the case.

The victim was a female student in Grade 12.

Information is being sent to parents at the school regarding the case.
